Meet Auditor -Elect Tina Cannon

Tina Cannon is the Deputy State Auditor in the Office of the Utah State Auditor, and is a successful accountant, entrepreneur and small business owner. When elected she will continue the important work of the State Auditor to be a watchdog for Utah Taxpayers by providing an independent assessment of financial operations, statutory compliance, and performance management of state and local governments. In the private sector for over 28 years, Tina used her management accounting background (CMA) and specialization (EA) in Federal, State, Local and Employment taxation to represent countless individuals and small businesses owners across Utah. Tina has used this expertise to bring greater accountability and oversight to Utah’s taxation processes.
